Guidelines
Two-side lamination requirements
(For jobs running on a 2-side laminator, both sides simultaneously)
Sheet Size: 2” x 3.5” up to 28” x 40”
Stock: 20# bond (not recommended) up to 18 pt.
Edge Seal
For an edge seal (the .125” lip around the perimeter, or larger as you specify) send a NET size sheet to us.
Flush Lamination
For a flush lamination, send the oversize press sheet with cut marks. We will keep the gripper and side guide clean of lamination so that the sheets can final trim at the paper cutter for the most professional, flush look.
One-side lamination requirements
Press Sheet Size: 11” x 17” up to 30” x 40”
WE MUST HAVE 1/2” BEYOND THE IMAGE AREA ON ALL 4 EDGES OF THE PRESS SHEET.
Stock: 5 pt. up to 24 pt.
These requirements apply to all jobs running one-side only, or running one side at a time in 2 passes. [Note: certain films require being run on the one-side laminator in two passes, including 1.2 mil OPP, PET, and AGS films]
